Tips: How efficient is a buck converter at low load conditions?

Under low load conditions, the efficiency of the DC-DC buck converter may decrease. This is because at low loads, the converter output current is small, and the converter itself requires a certain amount of static power dissipation to maintain operation. In this case, the fixed losses of the converter are relatively high, resulting in a decrease in efficiency.
